Activity details

This adventure takes you north from the port of Invergordon,  through scenic areas of Pictish & Viking history. Into lands of the Highland Clearances and modern day golf heritage.

 

  • Depart Port of Invergordon and travel north.
  • Stop at Millionaires view for a photo' stop. A stunning viewpoint overlooking the Kyle of Sutherland and Dornoch area. (20 minutes)
  • Visit Dunrobin Castle and its outstanding gardens. (2 hours)
  • Visit Royal Dornoch, explore Dornoch Cathedral and local shops. (1  hour 30 minutes)
  • Travel along Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve with its seals, birds and other possible wildlife viewing. (20 minutes)
  • Visit Glenmorangie or Balblair distillery for a photo' and whisky tasting opportunity. (tasting price not included) (Tasting fees not included) (30 minutes)

What's included

  • A maximum of either 19 or 29 guests,  in one of our Executive Luxury Midi Coaches. No large crowds and a personal experience.

Itinerary

Departing the Port of Invergordon we start our adventure travelling north. We'll make our way to an area known as Millionaires View, with its elevated viewpoint overlooking the Kyle of Sutherland and the Dornoch Firth, which provides a fantastic photo opportunity. 
 
We explore the majestic Dunrobin Castle, home to the Duke of Sutherland, with all its history and stunning gardens. 
 
Visiting the small town of Royal Dornoch, with its impressive and grand Cathedral. You'll also have the opportunity to enjoy some retail therapy and visit many local outlets with handcrafted products. 
 
Travelling along Loch Fleet, a nature reserve, you may see seals and many species of birds. 
 
No trip in Scotland would be complete without a visit to one of our famous distilleries, where you can enjoy a tasting. (Due to time constraints this is not a Distillery Tour) (Tasting fees not included)

Check-in details

Please arrive 15 minutes early, we depart promptly at the scheduled time. You'll receive a QR code with your confirmation email that we will scan to check you in, so bring your phone!

Pick up time will be confirmed following your booking, due to varied ship docking times. 8am departure for docking prior to this time. 8.30am for 8am dockings and 9.30am for 9am dockings. We aim to maximise that time you have on your day.

We will aim to return to the port at least 1 hour before your ships departure time.

Cancellations

Full refund with 7 days notice or 24 hours notice in the case of extreme weather.
