Departing the City of Inverness at a specified time and location this tour will take you on a southerly journey where you can enjoy the splendour of Badenoch including the Cairngorm mountains and National Park before enjoying the seaside resort of Nairn.
Leaving Inverness, we will travel south on the A9 Road, which broadly follows the original road constructed in the 18th century under the command of a British Army Officer, Field Marshal George Wade, who led on the construction of barracks, bridges and proper roads in Scotland.
We will then pass through the village of Carrbridge, home of the famous Landmark Centre, before making our way on the Badenoch rural roads to Aviemore. From there we continue to the beautiful Loch Morlich and high into the Cairngorm mountains near to the Cairngorm Mountain resort. From here you will see stunning views over the Badenoch area and across Loch Morlich.
Thereafter we will have an excursion to the Cairngorm Brewery, a microbrewery, where you will be given a tour of the brewing process, the history of the brewery and an optional tasting session if you so wish.
We will continue our journey to the quaint village of Granton on Spey and give you an opportunity to visit some of the traditional village shops.
We will continue our journey through the rural roads of Nairnshire, where you may see a selection of raptors and other wildlife, before returning to Inverness where we complete our day.
